Jefferson Elementary is one of the oldest schools in the Bakersfield City School District, first providing educational services in 1917. It is named after important historical figure, and 3rd President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson. For nearly 100 years, Jefferson Elementary School’s goal has been to provide each student the attention and quality instruction they need to be successful at every phase of life.
